3D Scanner Kiosk Software

Footbalance manufactures custom insoles made with a 3D scanner.

  • Objective

    Due to rapid development and expansion, multiple versions of sales kiosks were in use, each communicating with different systems and having similar but technically distinct architectures. The goal was to gain a clear overview of the kiosks in use, the analysis processes, and sales transactions.

  • Solution

    We created a system map and communication documentation for various platforms, which served as the foundation for building a central API server with a minimal user interface.

  • Gain

    There is no longer a need to maintain multiple disparate servers operating in unknown locations and performing unclear tasks. The kiosk operations are now fully transparent and manageable.
