Konrad Mägi
A digital art museum
Konrad Vilhelm Mägi was one of the first modernist painters in Estonia and the Nordic region, best known for his visionary landscapes. To mark the 140th anniversary of his birth, the Konrad Mägi Foundation organized a conference and a celebratory concert. Yet the artist had no official digital presence to present his legacy.

Goal
Create a dedicated website to honour one of Estonia’s most important artists — a place that showcases both his artworks and extraordinary life story. -
Solution
We built a website that introduces Mägi’s biography and works in high resolution, with deep zoom capabilities to explore every detail. Later, we added the “Painting Locations” section — an interactive map of Europe where visitors can follow Mägi’s travels and see where specific works were painted. The challenge was fitting many locations within very small map areas without losing clarity.
